If you are having any form of anesthesia- (IV sedation or General Anesthesia) you will need to make sure you have done two things

  1. No food or water before the surgery for at least 8 hours. Typically patients stop eating at midnight the night before surgery. When they wake up, they brush their teeth, but skip breakfast- this includes liquid such as water.
  2. You must bring someone to the surgery so that they can take you home. We cannot let you leave the clinic after being sedated and have you walk into the street and fall or drive a car.

Lastly, if you have had a COLD, a COUGH or any form of upper respiratory infection (SINUS) please call us 48hrs in advance.

If you take medications every morning, please call our office to discuss a plan.

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS ABOUT YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE OR SEND A MESSAGE. Please do not include private information in your email.
